About this wedding venue website template
A complete site for a wedding and events venue: seven built routes covering weddings, accommodation, a planner's dossier and a wired blog.
Editorial luxury — warm ivory and brass, Fraunces against Archivo, and warm estate photography doing the selling. The palette is two warm neutrals and one metal accent.
The home page opens on the estate at dusk, framed on the ivory ground, with the headline on the photograph and a row of open dates underneath — the first thing a couple wants to know. The weddings, stay and dossier pages share one split header: copy, a visit button and three hard facts on the left, a photograph with a smaller inset on the right. Motion is one quiet reveal.
The 7 pages you get
- Home
/ - The framed estate photograph with open dates, the five spaces, the record, and the enquiry close.
- Weddings
/weddings/ - The main commercial page — the shape of the day hour by hour, and what the hire includes.
- Stay
/stay/ - Fifteen bedrooms across the house and lodge, and the two nights in order.
- Dossier
/dossier/ - The page a planner or caterer opens — capacities and dimensions, access, power, sound limits and the season.
- Blog
/blog/ - A wired content collection — add an .mdx file and it appears here and in the sitemap.
- One worked article
/blog/example-post/ - A long-form post carrying the full editorial component set.
- 404
/404 - Designed, not default. Keeps the navigation.
What is in the build
- A framed estate photograph with a row of open dates under it, kept as a plain array you edit in one place
- A dossier route of capacities, access and technical limits, written for the planners and caterers who ask the same questions every time
- A stay route, because on-site accommodation is the difference between a day rate and a weekend rate
- A shared split header for subpages — copy, visit button and three facts beside a photograph with an inset — set by props per page
- Fraunces at high contrast against Archivo, both self-hosted
- Pre-filled mailto: enquiry paths and a live tel:, working from the day you deploy
- Vitest and Playwright suites included in the repository
The design decision
Every template in this catalog is loud in exactly one channel and deliberately quiet in the other three. That single rule is what stops 65 different worlds reading as one design system in different paint.
- The world
- Editorial luxury. Warm ivory and brass, a high-contrast serif throughout.
- The mechanic
- A venue site built to get the visit booked: a framed estate photograph with open dates under it, five spaces with capacities, a wedding-day timeline, on-site rooms, a planner's dossier of measurements, and an enquiry close. Motion is one quiet reveal.

Who it is for
Built for wedding venues, private estates, country houses and event locations selling a whole-property hire. It suits a venue whose photography carries the sale. For a festival or multi-day event, the summer-festival build is the other register; for a restaurant’s private room, the fine-dining one already has that page.

Questions
What is the dossier route for?
It is the page you forward to a caterer, planner or production company: room capacities and dimensions, access and parking, kitchen and power, sound limits and the season, set down once. Enquiries go through pre-filled mailto: links, so no form backend is required.
Can I use it for a venue that does not do weddings?
Yes. Rename the weddings route to whatever your primary hire is — corporate, private, film location — and the structure holds. The hero sells the property, not the occasion.
Does it handle availability or booking?
Not live booking. The home page shows a short list of open dates, edited by hand in one array, and each one leads to the enquiry. Venue availability is a conversation about dates, deposits and suppliers, so the enquiry stays the conversion point.
What exactly do I get for $49?
Access to a private GitHub repository holding the complete Astro source of this template — every route you see in the preview, the content model, the images and the tests. Updates arrive in that same repository.
How many sites can I build with one licence?
As many as you like, for yourself or for clients. The licence is per buyer, not per project. The one thing you may not do is resell or redistribute the source as a template, theme or starter kit.
Do I need to know Astro?
It helps, but the common case is editing content and colour. Content lives in typed objects under src/data, colour lives in one @theme block, and npm run dev shows the result. Deploying is a static folder — Cloudflare Pages, Netlify and Vercel all take it as-is.
Is anything loaded from a third party?
No. Fonts are self-hosted woff2, there is no analytics, no tag manager, no CDN script and no external CSS. The build ships static HTML under a strict Content-Security-Policy.
