About this lawn care website template
A complete website for a landscaping firm or garden designer: a split hero with a featured project, eight service pages with starting prices, four project pages with area, weeks on site and final cost, a working garden cost estimator, a lawn-care plan picker, maintenance plans, a journal, an FAQ and a booking form. Twenty-six built pages, all driven by content files.
It looks like a real garden business, not a design exercise. White pages with warm linen blocks, one dark moss band for the company story, and real photographs of finished gardens, stone patios, borders, lawns and hands in the soil carrying all the colour. Brygada 1918 for headings, Lato for everything else, and one moss-green accent.
Every section answers what a homeowner asks before calling a landscaper: what will it cost, how long will you be on site, when is the best time to start, who does the work, and what is guaranteed. The estimator and the plan picker give those answers on the page and carry the figures into the booking form. Motion is one quiet reveal.
The 26 pages you get
- Home

- Book a garden visit
/contact/ - Contact details, opening hours and a booking form that fills in the service, budget and estimate from any button or widget that links to it.

- 404
/404 - Designed, with links back home and to the services.
What is in the build
- A garden cost estimator: garden size, patio, new lawn, planting beds, fencing, lighting and pergola give a price range, weeks on site, the best season to start and a line-by-line breakdown
- A lawn-care plan picker: lawn size and 4, 6 or 8 visits a year give the price per visit, per month and per year
- Every rate in one pricing file, so the estimator, picker, plan table and prices page change together
- Maintenance plans compared (fortnightly, monthly, seasonal), stacking row by row on phones instead of scrolling sideways
- Services and projects as content: price-from, time on site, area, weeks and budget in one Markdown file each
- A month-by-month seasonal jobs strip that opens on the current month
- Booking buttons that pre-fill the contact form with the service, budget and the visitor's estimate
- 27 real garden photographs, optimised to WebP by Astro, with sources listed in LICENSING.md
- All business details in one file, and one accent colour that rebrands the whole site
- Vitest and Playwright suites included
The design decision
Every template in this catalog is loud in exactly one channel and deliberately quiet in the other three. That single rule is what stops 65 different worlds reading as one design system in different paint.
- The world
- White pages with warm linen blocks and one dark moss band, Brygada 1918 headings over Lato, real photographs of finished gardens, patios, borders and lawns, and one moss-green accent.
- The mechanic
- A garden cost estimator turns garden size and elements (patio, lawn, beds, fencing, lighting, pergola) into a price range, weeks on site and best season to start, and a lawn-care picker prices plans by lawn size and visits; both pre-fill the garden-visit form. Motion is one quiet reveal.

Who it is for
Built for landscapers, garden design-and-build firms, patio and paving installers, and lawn-care or garden maintenance companies. It also fits fencing contractors, tree surgeons and garden-lighting installers who sell by the job and want to show prices. It suits a business that wins work through a site visit and a written quote, and wants repeat income from maintenance plans.

Questions
How do I change the prices in the estimator?
Every rate is in one file, src/data/pricing.ts: the per-m² and per-metre figures, lighting and pergola ranges, lawn-care prices by size and the maintenance plans. Change a number and the estimator, the lawn-care picker, the plan table and the prices page all follow.
Where do bookings go?
The booking form posts nowhere by default. Point it at your form backend or CRM; the README shows how. Every "Book a garden visit" button, the estimator and the lawn-care picker link to it with the service, budget and figures already filled in.
Can I use it for lawn care or maintenance only?
Yes. Lawn-care plans and garden maintenance are two of the eight services, each with its own page and pricing widget. Remove the build services you do not offer by deleting their Markdown files.
Can I use the photographs?
Yes. They are from Pexels, which allows commercial use, and each one is listed with its source in LICENSING.md. None shows an identifiable face or a tool, mower or product brand.
What exactly do I get for $49?
Access to a private GitHub repository holding the complete Astro source of this template — every route you see in the preview, the content model, the images and the tests. Updates arrive in that same repository.
How many sites can I build with one licence?
As many as you like, for yourself or for clients. The licence is per buyer, not per project. The one thing you may not do is resell or redistribute the source as a template, theme or starter kit.
Do I need to know Astro?
It helps, but the common case is editing content and colour. Content lives in typed objects under src/data, colour lives in one @theme block, and npm run dev shows the result. Deploying is a static folder — Cloudflare Pages, Netlify and Vercel all take it as-is.
Is anything loaded from a third party?
No. Fonts are self-hosted woff2, there is no analytics, no tag manager, no CDN script and no external CSS. The build ships static HTML under a strict Content-Security-Policy.
